Meet our amazing instructors
Megha Joshi
Founder
Megha is a sophomore at Yale University studying Computer Science (CS) and Economics. She is also a South Salem High alum! She is excited about starting Code With Me and can’t wait to meet her students. She hopes that the course not only helps students gain coding skills but teaches them how to think like a coder.
Mihir Joshi
Founder
Mihir is a South Salem High School student! He has enjoyed coding throughout his life. He gave a TEDx Talk about a game he coded in the 6th grade. He is super excited to start the classes and teach everyone about the wonders of coding!
Anna Chau
instructor
Anna is an undergraduate sophomore at MIT. She is planning to major in electrical engineering and computer science. She is a South Salem High School alum and cannot wait to teach students through Code With Me!
Julie Chen
Instructor
Julie is a South Salem HS alumni and planning to study environmental engineering and computer science in the fall. She has taught CS basics at AspireIT programs in the past for middle and high-school girls and is excited to meet the students at Code with Me!
Ian Clingerman
instructor
Ian is a sophomore studying computer science at the University of Rochester and a South Salem High School alumnus. Ian has been programming since his freshman year of high school and is excited to introduce his passion to a new generation of students through Code With Me.
Brinsley Hammond-Brouwer
Instructor
Brinsley Hammond-Brouwer is an incoming senior pursuing a full IB diploma. She has been coding since sixth grade and has taught in multiple coding programs, including a WishIT camp and her own week-long coding camp. She loves working with kids and is so excited to be a part of this program!
Mina Morris
instructor
Mina is a senior at South Salem High and the CTEC where she is studying drones and robotics. Mina has experience in CAD 3D modeling, manufacturing, engineering, and ballistics/blast/heat testing in which she has incorporated her experience with computers and problem solving. She cannot wait to begin this new learning experience with her students and to share her experience as a woman in STEM!
Shelby Westerberg
Instructor
Shelby is an undergrad at OSU pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. She has long had an interest in technology, and has been coding since her freshman year of high school at our very own South Salem High. She is excited to pass on her knowledge of coding to the next generation of Salem-Keizer students with Code With Me!
Teddy Zhang
instructor
Teddy Zhang will be a senior at South Salem High School in the fall. He helps tutor computer programming for iLearn World, a tutoring company from Alabama. In 2019, he was part of the highest-placing team from South High at the George Fox University coding competition. Teddy also is an avid musician, playing bassoon and piano.
Amy Zhen
Instructor
Amy is pursuing a degree in bioengineering at Oregon State University and a South Salem High School alumna. She is ecstatic about introducing the world of coding to these young students. She is ready to teach her students coding basics while having fun.
